Bald Hills Wind Farm Community Fund Invites Expressions of Interest for its 2026 District Grant

The Bald Hills Wind Farm Community Fund is inviting community organisations in the Tarwin Lower, Walkerville and Venus Bay district to submit applications for its 2026 Community Grants program.

The Community Fund has $27,000.00 available for grants to community organisations for 2026 of the following.

• A Number of Small Project Grants of up to $2,000 and
• One Small Project Grant of $5,000 available and
• One District Grant of up to $15,000.00, which must provide a benefit or service to the local community.

Multiple applications are allowed, provided each project is ‘stand alone’.

Last year, the Fund distributed $25,000 amongst:

• Tarwin Lower Football & Netball Club –Safety Nets for Pitch.
• Tarwin Lower Tennis Club –Tennis Nets for courts
• Tarwin Lower Primary School – Emergency Power Generator
• Tarwin Lower & District Rural Fire Brigade – Safety Equipment
• Venus Bay Surf Lifesaving Club – Audio equipment upgrade

Any community organisation operating in the Tarwin Lower, Venus Bay and Walkerville district can apply for a Small Project or District Grant.

Application forms must be received by 5pm on Friday, 10 February 2026
